How big is it, really?
The Azura's length overall, against things you already know the size of.
The 747-8 held the longest-airliner record for over a decade, until Boeing's 777-9 took it by about 19 inches (76.72 m), our sibling site aircraft.fyi measures everything that flies the same way.
One Azura = 1.08 Titanics · 2.8 football pitches · 12 blue whales · 3.8 Boeing 747-8s laid end to end.

What makes it different
Azura is the second Ventura-class ship and about as close to her sister as two ships get, 290 metres, 115,055 gross tons, the same nineteen decks and the same six Wärtsilä diesels producing 67.2 MW.
Her delivery in 2010 sits either side of a change in the fleet's paperwork. She was registered at Southampton when new, and re-registered to Hamilton, Bermuda in 2011 with the rest of P&O's ships, a move that let captains legally marry couples at sea, which UK registry does not permit.
She carries an open-air cinema over the pool deck and a slightly more social layout than Ventura, but the two are routinely mistaken for each other, which is fair enough.
