What makes it different
Costa Deliziosa is the smallest ship in the fleet and the most widely related. Her hull is Fincantieri's Vista platform — the same drawings that produced Holland America's Zuiderdam group, Cunard's Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, and P&O's Arcadia.
That makes her a useful demonstration of how little the platform determines the product. The same steel underneath is sold as British ocean-liner formality by Cunard, Dutch long-voyage cruising by Holland America, and an Italian holiday by Costa.
She is the line's long-range ship, working world cruises and Indian Ocean itineraries where her smaller size is the advantage. Her sister Costa Luminosa left for Carnival Cruise Line in 2022, leaving Deliziosa as Costa's only Vista hull.
