What makes it different
MSC Seascape is the fullest expression of the Seaside concept: a ship designed around being outside. Where most mega-ships pull passengers inward to an enclosed promenade, the Seaside platform wraps the hull in exterior decks, waterfront promenades at sea level and glass-floored walkways, giving Seascape over 13,000 square metres of open deck.
As the second Seaside EVO she is the stretched version — 339 metres against 323, 170,412 gross tons against 153,516, and an additional deck over the original Seaside pair. The signature detail is the Bridge of Sighs, a glass-bottomed span cantilevered out over the ship's side eighteen decks above the water.
She was delivered by Fincantieri at Monfalcone in November 2022 and went straight onto year-round Caribbean itineraries from Miami, where the outdoor-first layout makes the most obvious sense.
