What makes it different
Celebrity Summit is the third Millennium-class ship and, like her sisters, a demonstration that a mid-sized ship can outlive larger and newer ones if it can reach ports they cannot.
At 294 metres and around 91,000 gross tons she works Bermuda, Canada and New England, and smaller Caribbean calls — itineraries where berth length and draft matter more than onboard water parks.
She was rebuilt inside under the Revolution programme, Celebrity's fleet-wide modernisation, which replaced staterooms, added the Retreat suite complex and reworked the public rooms. The hull and machinery are early-2000s; almost nothing a passenger touches is.
