What makes it different
MSC Seaview is the sister to MSC Seaside and the second ship built on the design that reoriented MSC's thinking about deck space. The Seaside concept borrows from resort architecture rather than ocean liners: two waterfront promenades at sea level, a wraparound boardwalk, and glass-floored bridges that let passengers look straight down the hull's side.
At 153,516 gross tons and 323 metres she is the smaller of the two Seaside generations, delivered in June 2018 — the third new MSC ship in twelve months during the company's most aggressive expansion phase.
She has spent much of her career on Mediterranean summers and South American winters out of Santos, an itinerary pattern that suits a ship whose best spaces are all outdoors.
