The story so far
Fincantieri is the largest shipbuilding group in Europe, with the Monfalcone and Marghera yards turning out cruise ships for nearly every major brand, Norwegian Aqua and the Prima class among the latest, alongside naval vessels, ferries and superyachts from its other Italian sites.
Its cruise pedigree runs from the Grand-class ships of the 1990s through today's Prima Plus generation; by cumulative passenger tonnage delivered it is among the most prolific cruise builders in history.
