The story

What makes it different

Celebrity Reflection is the odd one out in an otherwise uniform class. Meyer Werft built five Solstice-class ships between 2008 and 2012; the first four are effectively identical, and then Celebrity added a full deck of cabins to the last one.

The change took her to roughly 126,000 gross tons against the 122,000 of her sisters and gave her about 200 more passengers, at the cost of a slightly taller and less balanced profile — a trade the line has not repeated.

She keeps the class signature, the Lawn Club: half an acre of real growing grass on the top deck, maintained at sea. It remains the most impractical and most memorable idea in Celebrity's fleet, and the Solstice ships are the only ones that have it.
