The story

What makes it different

Carnival Panorama completed the Vista class in December 2019, and her deployment mattered more than her specification. Carnival placed her at Long Beach on year-round Mexican Riviera runs — the first brand-new Carnival ship based on the US West Coast in about twenty-five years.

Structurally she is a Vista: 133,500 gross tons, fifteen decks, SkyRide overhead, the Havana cabins aft. The notable swap is a Sky Zone trampoline park where Vista and Horizon carry an IMAX screen.

She was also the last Carnival ship delivered before the pandemic, entering service barely three months before the industry stopped — and the last of the pre-Excel generation, which makes her a useful marker of where Carnival's thinking stood before the LNG mega-ships arrived.

Sky Zone
Carries a trampoline park in place of her sisters' IMAX theatre — the clearest interior difference within the class.
