The yard

The story so far

Part of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation, Hudong-Zhonghua delivered Ever Alot, the first container ship past 24,000 TEU, and led construction of the CMA CGM Jacques Saadé class, the first giant boxships powered by LNG.

It is also China's premier LNG-carrier builder, the yard that broke the Korean monopoly on membrane gas ships, a capability that made the Jacques Saadé project possible on home soil.
