How big is it, really?
The Disney Adventure's length overall, against things you already know the size of.
The 747-8 held the longest-airliner record for over a decade, until Boeing's 777-9 took it by about 19 inches (76.72 m) — our sibling site aircraft.fyi measures everything that flies the same way.
One Disney Adventure = 1.27 Titanics · 3.3 football pitches · 14 blue whales · 4.5 Boeing 747-8s laid end to end.

What makes it different
Disney Adventure is the most unusual acquisition in modern cruising. She began as Global Dream, the lead ship of a class Genting Hong Kong was building at MV Werften for its Dream Cruises brand — at 208,000 gross tons, among the largest cruise ships ever laid down. Genting collapsed into insolvency in 2022 with the hull roughly three-quarters complete.
Disney bought her for about €40 million. The completed ship had been valued at somewhere near €1.8 billion. Her intended sister was never finished and was broken up. Meyer Wismar completed the conversion under the supervision of Meyer Werft, which had built every other Disney ship.
At around 45 per cent larger than the Wish class she is by a wide margin Disney's biggest ship, carrying roughly 6,000 guests with 2,300 crew, and she carries the longest roller coaster at sea. She is also based in Singapore rather than Florida — Disney's first year-round Asian deployment, and a very different bet from the Caribbean short cruises the line is built on.
